   Shame that Homebase seems to sell few practical, useful things these days. If you want awful throwaway tat to clogg up your house with it's the place to go.

   Drove 20 miles to the Selby store for 2 packs of tiles to finish my bathroom, no tiles in stock, and they said I could order them, but it could take up to 5 weeks!, what a joke!, I ended up ordering them and when they did turn up 48 out of 88 were broken!, Yodel delivered them and must have thrown them around the van!, the store is not very well stocked with a small range of most things, I'll give it a miss next time and go to Hull.

   Helpful staff rang this morning for a query on if they had specific paint in store as I don’t live local and the guy who I spoke to on the phone was very helpful. Went in store a few hours later and he knew who I was and helped me get what I needed. Friendly staff and efficient.

   Fabulous store! I love it here. Great location, store is immaculately set out. A fantastic range of products. All the staff are polite and helpful. Pricing is competitive but one thing that really stood out (other than how nice the staff are) was how healthy the plants looked. Whoever looks after them does a terrific job! I’ve bought all my paint and light fittings from here recently whilst I renovate my new home. I’m actually looking forward to going again. Weird but true!    My original trip on the 6th Feb was to purchase a Karcher K3 pressure washer, which unfortunately developed a fault and I had to return it last week, with no receipt I was rather worried to be honest, but it really wasn't a problem I spoke to 2 brilliant people who helped me sort my problem and I ended up with the Karcher K4! So I was rather happy and pleasantly surprised at how hassle free they dealt with my issue with the K3 model, I had my son with me aswell and the woman, who I'm so sorry but didn't catch her name was so pleasant and to be honest a diamond, she even helped me get it to my car whilst I was carrying my son, I'm really rather annoyed at myself for not catching their names but these 2 individuals were absolutely perfect! I couldn't have asked for any better service! I'm looking forward to my next visit, customer service like this is rare! But ever so pleasant to see, thank you!!!

   Used click and collect - very fast response and great communication. Unfortunately the items were unsuitable so I had to return- the staff member was polite and professional and the refund came through instantly to my PayPal account. Great store, a credit to the company ☺️

   Wanted an outside tap as my current one broke in the cold weather. Gardening section was sparsely stocked, lots of the usual items were missing. Ended up going to Screwfix which is a little less convenient. Always have had problems at Homebase stores in some way over the years.
