What a lovely nursery. Our daughter was there from 12 months old until leaving for school. It has a home from home feel. It is working on more natural and sustainable areas/ play for the children. The staff work with the children and parents to be on the same page and do the best for the individual child. Would highly recommend this nursery. A little gem!
Our daughter attended Elm Cottage from 10months old and it was the best decision we have made so far for our daughter. The staff are so caring and nurturing and we never had any worries or concerns . Her speech, counting and her creative side have all been amazing thanks to the Elm Cottage Team and all the wonderful activities they do with them. She has really thrived in Elm Cottage. The Christmas play and the Graduation is just amazing and the staff really care about the children and invest so much into them. Our daughter felt so safe and secure to just be herself and develop. The ratio of kids to staff is great for their development . Our daughter also loved the food too created by the amazing Amanda and Jess still prefers Amanda's meals to school dinners and our food at home! Hard to match ! Highly recommend Elm Cottage Thorn Grove . Thank you so much Maxine and the fantastic team . We really do miss you all.
Both my children attended Elm Cottage Thorn Grove until they started school.... Elm Cottage is the most amazing place for nurturing children and helping them thrive... both my children who are now 5 and 7 still talk about Elm Cottage and how much they miss the staff ❤️ we are so lucky that we sent our kids here and will be forever grateful to all the amazing staff for looking after our 2 kiddos so well over the years xx
Since our eldest daughter started at Elm Cottage we have seen a huge difference in her confidence and especially her speech. She loves to come home telling us about all the fun things she has done at nursery and says that everyone at nursery “makes her very happy”. She has always had a great connection with her key workers and we as parents have always felt very informed of how she is doing at nursery. The communication has been brilliant. Recently our youngest daughter has started at the nursery and the team have taken an active interest in how they can meet her needs and settle her into nursery. It made a massive difference in easing our worries as parents. Her key worker has been brilliant in communicating and sending us lots of pictures as she has settled into life at nursery. Would definitely recommend!
