This pub is local to me. It is fabulously run by Stacy and all the staff are fantastic. The locals are awesome and just join you in on everything. Brilliant place xx
Nice pub.. Had food & drinks. Watched the football.. Plenty of screens. Staff friendly. Found was good. Would go again.
Couldn't tell you anything other than we decided this pub looked good so we travelled quite a distance only to find the car park at 2.55pm full to bursting with parents picking up kids from the school next door AND even a ice cream van. Landlord, this is not very clever if you really want new custom.
This is the best pub in Warrington by far. The staff are a great team, the food is consistently fab and the sense of community in the pub is second to none. I had the burger and it was so fresh and tasty as usual. Well done Stacey and team!
Decided to pop in for a quick drink and a bite to eat, was greeted by a lovely girl called faith, she was absolutely lovely, she was very kind and was on it, while still being so caring and kind, she is truly an asset to this place and can’t wait to come in again and hopefully see her!
Friendly staff. Only went in for a drink when I was waiting for friends but the pub ic clean and has a relaxed atmosphere
Great live music but the pub was almost empty on a Saturday night. No atmosphere at all.
Food good and plentiful but waited a long time and could have been hotter
Really upset with the turf and feather today 29th July for a pint, I use this pub on a weekly basis and often have a meal. I entered the premises today about 3pm and was told that the pub was now closing for a private funeral party. 2 people who was outside when I was leaving also thought that it was bad for this to happen especially on a Friday afternoon when a lot of customers would visit after a hard day's work. About this time I have only ever seen 10 to 20 people in there but they are everyday paying customers who put money in your tills 7 days a week and to be told to leave at 3pm for a private party when let's face it 95% would not return again is appalling. Last week I had a meal which was not of great quality and I had already said that I won't eat there again but now it seems that I will be paying higher prices at the peacock because they would never do this to regular customers. I was always under the impression that the turf and feather was like a community pub for local people as well as visitors but this has proved me wrong.
Nice little pub, food is nice and place is clean. Shame gate to park is now locked when there was a few kids there who had to go out the front onto car park and walk around the pub to use the park at back. It is a council park not belonging to the pub but the gate on to it was a good touch.
