Terrific friendly pub with great staff and great prices and a good choice of beers. The decor is so quirky it's worth a visit just to look around. And the secret garden??? Hell yeah!! The only down side ! And this is a small thing but it can be a bit loud with the music!!

Great atmosphere, beer garden is spot on,great in the day &good night too, also the menu of non alcoholic drinks is best in Warrington, drinks are probably cheapest in town, used to go here when it was the wheatsheaf in the early 90s, and its the only pub in England that has a pavement all the way round it !

Had the most amazing night, can't wait to go back tomorrow, only in Warrington for 2 days but found this gem on the first night, staff were great, atmosphere banging drinks very very nice, definitely recommend especially the Tuesday night as the dj's were awsome. Would definitely go back 5 *

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Very accommodating for our recent get together. Quirky outdoor space reasonably priced drinks. I'll visit again

Went for an early pint at 13:10pm. Music loud so struggled for conversation, pint was harsh and glass chipped. No one on bar to speak to after being served. Is that why music was loud, so they could hear it wherever they were? Apparently its a decent pub now, but not in my eyes. Friendly locals is the only reason I give two stars.

The person behind the bar was sound and didn’t even ask for any ID or anything for alcohol there they just let you have it unless they think you look a bit young than 18+ there then that’s when they will be after it loved my night out there since it was my first game back at the HJ stadium also which ended in a win to boost the wire’s survival hopes had some decent vibes on in there which was still going after full time as you walk past the pub I recommend people going there on a rugby league match day
