Went in a couple off days ago for a meal the restaurant was very festive and decorated amazingly. We had a chicken feast and a lasagna with garlic bread and it was amazing top quality food. Our server Chloe was lovely very attentive and we over heard her making sure the other waiting staff were okay and giving them some advice on how to improve some things it was really nice too see. We will definitely be returning

We had 2 Sunday roast I don’t believe the chicken was a roast as the chicken was a fillet not off the bone. The veg was to hard under cooked and the parsnip was to hard to. So wasn’t as good an other times we have been there. The service by the staff was good and always is.

We had the festive 3 course meal and it was absolutely delicious. The service was out of this world and the staff were superb. Already booked for next week for my Mums birthday. Highly recommend. A follow on from last week, and once again everything was outstanding. My Mum absolutely loved her birthday dinner (Thank you for her birthday drink). If you're looking for a local eatery, with a lovely atmosphere and top staff and beautiful food then please go to the Slow and Easy, well worth a visit.

I've been in here a couple of times for food which was excellent both times especially the triple meat Sunday roast, I love a good Sunday roast and their's is right up there, fantastic. Good atmosphere also and landlady was nice and friendly, even gave my dog a treat. Highly recommended.

First time at the slow and easy for years and what a lovely experience. Walked in the the ambience was lovely. Welcomed by the waitress and chose our place to sit, was quieter than we expected but felt nice. Food was cooked to a high standard the steaks were cooked to a perfect medium rare and were really tasty. The food combined with the feel of the pub and the lovely waitress Erica has made us want to come back again. We had a pint in the bar at the end of the meal around 20:00 and felt like a pub where local people can have a laugh and enjoy the banter. We will be coming again v soon. Thank you to all the staff and Erica for being so attentive.

This venue has recently been reopened after an extensive refurbishment. The pub has always served good beer, but aside from that, the premise was run down always cold and the facilities very dated. The refurbishment is amazing, as soon as we walked through the door it looks inviting and was warm!!! The bar lady was superb, very knowledgeable and helpful. The beer is still very very well kept. The food menu is also very very good, not over extensive but a lot more than basic. The meals we chose, as a family of four, were all served at the same time and were hot, fresh and delicious. We also enjoyed a dessert which was all equally as delicious. This pub 150% deserves to be given an opportunity to impress. Please try and dismiss the house from any previous experience, it really does deserve it. To coin an old phrase, use it or lose it!!

Nice refurb. Dog friendly areas. Had chicken Cambodian curry. Very tasty BUT not piping hot so 1 less star for that. Partner had haddock and enjoyed it. Good choices on menu. Will call again most definitely.

Great food, we had to wait a bit but it was worth the wait. The pub has recently been renovated and looks nice and clean. The main meals had a good portion size and the desserts were fantastic. I can also highly recommend the "dirty fries with pulled pork". A good selection of lager, with Moretti and Madri on tap which is a big plus point! We will visit again, it's nice to have somewhere else decent to eat in the area
