This store is garbage. Worst one round this way. Small with limited stock. Staff don't have much of a clue about anything and seem to be more bothered about standing in groups chatting. Best to avoid.

We went in on Friday 7th Nov at around 6pm (ish), and was greeted by two people asking if I needed help with a gas bottle that I'd brought in to exchange. Brilliant service. My wife also was asked if she needed help. Amazing compared to Glasshouton B&Q that we visited earlier. Amazing. Keep up the brilliant customer service and maybe train your other stores.

Absolutely terrible from start to finish. Deliveries wanting to be made from different sources the same week we ordered. The promised fitter didn't turn up twice then resigned so they tried to find another fitter. An awful lot of extra goods were delivered and we had to take them all back for refund of a lot of money. Drawer fronts delivered instead of doors. Nothing promised happened. We were promised a project manager but they were non existent. We employed our own fitter who basically had to make the delivered kitchen fit by altering it all round and us having to then buy extra pieces. It was a shambles from start to finish. Would never use them again for anything. Very very disappointed with the service and they were not interested in aftercare.

Wakefield b&q is a bit smaller than Leeds however still has a good stock of what you need. Nice selection of houseplants, seeds and bulbs. Outdoor garden centre is small in comparison to nearby garden centres. Hardware section is well laid out. Staff are helpful and friendly. And it just seems to be quite a chilled store no hustle and bustle like the Leeds store. Car park is big, no time limit and free. If I had to criticise the compost is quite pricey but thatβs b&q in general rather than isolated to this particular store.

Rubbish as I am at DIY, I always come to B&Q when I need paint, screws, tools or other hardware. It's a big store, selling pretty much everything you need for home projects. They even have a decent garden section with sheds, plants and the like. Since HomeBase closed its become the natural place to come for DIY stuff.

I have just bought a blind for the kitchen last week. Today my wife and I went to the store again as there was some bits of the blind were missing from the package. We met a lady and explained the situation and she tried her best to help us,until her manager came. The manager was so rude and lack of customer service skills and ethic He said that he has been a manager for 30 years, what a waste of time for the Company. We felt so bad ,upset and very disappointed. We came for looking for a good solution to fit our blind bought from the store. However, he kept pushing and saying that he gave the new blind package for free. We didn't come there to get a free new blind package or anything for free. We just came for finding any solution ( the bits which were missing), yet we were treated so badly by the manager of the store.
