   A lovely, relaxed family meal with excellent service at both the bar and carvery. I particularly appreciated that the bar person asked if we had any vouchers to use, and still applied a discount when we said “no”. That felt like a commitment to giving true value and great customer service. The carvery options were still hot and plentiful, even though it was later in the day, and the food itself was delicious. I will definitely be back!

   Had a carvery, the flavours were nice however the food itself was poor, regular size portion and got little meat of turkey, roast potatoes far over done, could break yur teeth easily on them, peas and carrots were probably best thing too however i like stuffing and the stuffing there was hardly any, plus it was dry to the bone, asked if had any more in back and got told there was plenty there at the front, chef definitely couldn't be arsed to get the new fresh lot out. I would from my experience not have this again here

   Food and service are always great. Staff very friendly and there’s always a relaxing atmosphere. It is ashame though that on a Saturday night there were only 2 tables with guests on at 9.45pm, makes you feel like you’ve overstayed your welcome. Saying that we had a great night with family.

   SUPER ...fantastic staff, amazing food, brilliant atmosphere. One of our favourites in the region. From time to time this place may get overcrowded, but you know how it is - kiddos enjoy yummy goodies also. In my opinion (personal view) this is more of a cosy restaurant with full bar service, not exactly an ordinary pub. What makes it ideal also for pleasurable quality time during the consumption of individual choices.

   First visit but will definitely be coming again. Was my birthday and grandson had booked here. We were all there for the first time.. All our food was lovely and also hot. Not long to wait for service was there before those having carvery fetched theirs. Was initially very busy and all the staff were working very hard but still with a smile The manager was super and my gift was so appreciated. Thank you, everyone, for a super evening.

   Good atmosphere, was busy. But staff very attentive and speedy. Reasonable menu and reasonable prices. I had fish an chips and couldn't fault it. They also have a varied selection of beers. If I'm in the area again I wouldn't hesitate to go back.
