An excellent Sunday roast today on the last available table for 2 and at short notice. The landlady and bar staff are very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is great and the local clientele are supportive.

After a walk around the hills, we decided to pop here for the first time for some much needed refuelling. We experienced exceptional service. The sunday roast was perfection, including the soup. Both my lads' meals came with desert, which they loved. We didn't wait long for our food. Overall, I'd recommend this pub to everyone, especially for a Sunday roast!! Excellent work!!

Really enjoyed our dinner here - the salmon fillet was large and cooked perfectly. I hate I'd you get greasy fish as salmon is already oily, but I neednt worry. It was great! Pizzas would be better using a hand made dough, but it was OK overall. We would visit again. Thankyou

Friendly staff and good pub food. Beer is also well kept and decent selection. Good for watching football with a couple of TVs but also good if you want to sit and have a meal. Good sized beer garden which is undercover. Also has parking available. Doesn’t have anywhere obvious to park a bike but I easily found somewhere to chain it outdoors. The locals and regulars know each other but they are friendly to newcomers too. Very welcoming and homely feel in a good location with good food and drink options.

We booked a Sunday Lunch for 30 people at The Bull's Head on 25th Sept 2022. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They dealt with specific dietary requirements really well. They provided little extras that we requested so the area looked festive. Food was excellent too.
