My experience was one to remembercsme across a lovely kind intelligent young man Simon who helped me alot with my order did all the price checks as prices were coming different at till and also offered to help as firewood is quite heavy to carry 100% customer service skills Wickes should be very proud of a staff like Simon thank you once again
Popped in to pick up some gravel, 20mm bags - 10bags for £40 i thought was reasonable, about 25kg bag. No nonsense and in and out quickly on a Saturday morning, not too busy and served immediately.
Both of the shower unit I wanted to purchase had been tampered with. Not Wickes fault but the same at Wakefield and Pontefract.
Click and collect. Huge store plenty of parking. Staff are helpful and friendly. Always got deals on stuff so definitely worth having browse found things cheaper here lots of times over other places and even online. Never had a let down product or service here.
15 bags of sand and 15 bags of top soil delivered 4 sand bags was split and went everywhere on our shared drive 3 bags of top soil split. So I complained online and Dewsbury branch said they’ll replace the soil bags but not the sand as I had pictures of the split soil bags but not the sand. Last thing on my mind was grab my camera with sand everywhere they said what day would I like the 3 replacement soil bags delivered so I said Wednesday please they delivered the next day Friday ?? And they delivered sand and not top soil I complained about the delivery and wrong items no reply so will go out and just buy the soil I need.
Best store for building products in dewsbury. Staff are good especially Afreen who is allways in good mood and smiles.

Website showed item in stock at Dewsbury branch, approached staff member behind the counter who had dismissive attitude. Clearly requires some training around how to speak with customers!
Called in today had exactly what I wanted..helpful assistant directed me straight to the product I required..recommend...
