Friendly staff and went midweek, so wasn’t busy at all. Poor choice of beer, it’s got an old pub feel but without any decent draught beers.
Always a nice warm welcome from Barbara + Ray who have been running this establishment for over 35 years and have always kept it a nice traditional pub with a nice warm welcome for regulars and visitors alike and make nice hosts.
Really nice atmosphere and friendly people. I'm new to the area so it was nice to meet some friendly locals.

Staying in a local hotel we came across this place. Nice pint, friendly girl behind bar & nice friendly locals.
Visited the brit for a pool night so didn't experience the pub completely and it was a Thursday so probably not as busy as it can get but still a friendly atmosphere and nice place. More of a traditional pub but great to see one still standing. I had a Madri which was a good pint, few other selections on offer.
