   Had a gorgeous Christmas Dinner, booked early had the choice to pay off weekly/monthly. We were well looked after the lady did well. We will defo be coming next year.

   We booked a table for 6 people for your new quiz night! We all had food which arrived to the table quickly, and everyone had nothing but compliments towards it! We then enjoyed a fun, old school pen and paper quiz which was really fun and something we will definitely be doing again next week!

   The prices are absolutely sky high, Absolutely a joke. And I ordered a little starter for a snack, COULD NOT EAT IT. When this pub first opened, It was value for money and the food was amazing, Now it’s absolutely awful, Shame on you , The young lady behind the bar was Marsdons, I can garentee this pub won’t last.

   Fabulous little gem of a place. Love the fact that you are so inclusive for families and children and there is lots to keep the kids occupied. Other venues could learn a lot from you. The food was fabulous, can't fault it, only that maybe could be a bit quicker but I totally understand it was very busy when I attended. Staff are all lovely and very friendly and went out their way to accommodate us during our visits. Hope that you keep up the good work. We will be back soon

   Everything was excellent we had a carvery and it was delicious the meat was cooked to perfection and the vegetables especially the parsnips were devine. Every staff member was friendly and welcoming we received service with a smile all the way. It was clean and warm. Will be recommending and returning for sure.

   Lovely meal, although some of the vegetables could have been a little warmer or at least a warm plate. Everything would have been perfect except we had to ask twice for the table to be wiped clean as it had dirty glasses on it and was very sticky.. Not too impressed with the waitress who firstly forgot our cutlery and then when she did bring them they were thrown on the table scattering about. No apology given. Overall it was a pleasant atmosphere and would have given a 10 except for the above comments.

   Nice food, decent prices and portion sizes. Three stars only because the reserved tables were spotless. Our tables were sticky, no condiments or menu's.

   Staff were friendly but the place was dirty. We were told to sit wherever we like however all the tables were dirty with leftovers, crumbs and food stuck to the menus. Food was brought to us BEFORE any cutlery however the food itself was tasty. We were sat at our table talking for almost an hour after finishing eating, and nobody cleared our plates. Sad to say but there's no competition in Skem when it comes to places that serve food.

   Where to begin? I'm embarrassed that I brought my friend here, for a "local" pub this is genuinely shameful. From seeing raw meat being brought out at the carvery, to the menu items being "warm" and the pub itself being in a state of disrepair... Just avoid this place. There's no uniforms on most of the staff, who just looked at you at the bar, no greeting. There's no table numbers either, so don't go in when you're busy. Oh and there's no drinks menus at the tables either, so you just have to guess what you're going to pay at the bar, which is one guest today found out, it was £7.50 for a gin and lemonade. The food doesn't impress. Steak was chewy, burger was mushy in the middle, egg was dripping with oil... It just wasn't nice. The place isn't kept to, well, any standards. They still have the bunting up from the queen's jubilee which was about a month ago.
