Always a good atmosphere. Saturday entertainment. Good local pub. Centre of the village. Not really a foody pub but can get cothams pies and sausage rolls if you want. Dog friendly pub. The small resident dog is called Molly.

Very disappointing. When the only "beers" on the bar are Doombar & Green King IPA you know not too have great expectations but when servered both are poor substitutes for vinegar one has to assume the regulars don't appreciate beer and the landlord doesn't care less. 1 star cos there's not a minus rating.
