   I’m really tired of this school being honest. One of the biggest problems is being accused in this ‘good’ school. I personally have been accused before and I have raised it up to slt which was not helping at all it took my parents to contact the school then for it to be sorted after all that stress and 20minutes of my life gone and there’s no point of raising the concern because it’s not worth it because thy just slap you with a ‘well you’ve already done the detention’ and I’ll get the teacher to say sorry. It is a decent school with good staff but they really need to focus on how accusations are dealt and not to just let it slide.I also don’t really recommend this school and if you are putting your child to school please please think about your decision because you may regret it

   I went to this school and hated it. I was badly bullied by the other kids pretty much every day and the jobsworth staff didn’t care in the slightest. I’m 23 now and still to this day have a lot of PTSD from the bullying and other crap that I went through while I was there that no amount of therapy or reminding myself I never have to go there again has been able to fix. Awful, awful school. Do not send your kids here ! There are plenty of decent schools out there but this is not one of them and it needs closing down ASAP. What a complete joke.

   If you are going to send your child to this school please beware that staff are a bit rude , accuse your child of anything and make them sit a detention for something they didn’t do, used to be a really good school until principal changed,ridiculous behavior systems, the first aider doesn’t really help and shouts a lot.gossipy and unprofessional teachers (some swear , really sassy and rude) and some pretty racist students. Some staff are also really amazing but If I was you I would rethink about putting your child at this school

   Horrible school do not put your child at this school at all because you will regret it! Horrible and disgusting staff , staff don’t care for children. Poor teaching quality and on website it looks like a really good school but reality it’s horrible and disgusting. Don’t even know how they are labeled as a ‘good’ school. 0/10

   This school is absolutely trash it's very hard to find one space of parking,the staff don't care about student safety and they accuse random kids that they have done something bad,'m a kid that goes this school and I find it embarrassing that I'm a kid that goes this school I got accused of starting a fight that wasn't that bad and I was so defending myself and I get to sit in a room with my worst enemy's,no talking for 6 hours and someone almost got accused because apparently they made a paper aeroplane and wrote on it I started the 9/11 attack This school sucks and I hope the headteachers reading this and actually feels bad about me If you want to put you child into this school I would think twice

   My daughter had problems with some girls in her year. I spoken to Miss Lawton head of year 8 who dealt with the whole situation really well. As a mother I appreciate the support my daughter got from Miss Lawton. I Highly recommended Hathershaw collage :)
