Lovely atmosphere, Liam and Tracy were very friendly at the bar and karaoke made for a nice time. Lots of people having a great time and just enjoying themselves
Omg went dublin for a nice drink have a catch up with friends. Two new bar staff on they was swearing it was just horrible atmosphere. It was dirty sticky toilet was horrible. When I asked about the lovely landlady Selina, I was met with glare and she walked off. If I could give a zero star rating I absolutely would. Shocking behaviour behind the bar, where have all the welcoming staff gone? Won't be returning or recommending
We were in here last night.The place was busy as hell.The staff that were on were amazing.Especially the young guy.Sorry I didn't get his name he was so pleasant and professional.There was a young lady helping out she was good as well.She said she doesn't normally work there.To have only 3 staff on was not fair as it was busy.The manager needs to sort it out.The toilet's were disgusting.
Absolutely loved this pub. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff are genuinely friendly, and the whole place has a whole is cosy. The drinks selection was spot-on. A perfect place to unwind—highly recommended.
We came here for a drink whilst going shopping at the Christmas market, the staff were nice and friendly but the pub needs a lot of TLC. You can see from the photos the state of the toilets, my wife said the women's were worse with mouldy toilet paper!! And this was in the morning so really should be cleaned by then ready for the day.
First impression of inside was good, however too many TV screens. All blurring out that loud you could not hear yourself think. Had to drink up and leave.
One of the smaller bars in chester, but you receive a warm welcome and the beer is good. They have football screens. Charming littlepub
Busy, popular dog friendly pub on the market square, close to both the Town Hall and the Cathedral, which are both moments away. Smothered with sports television screens, if that's your thing. Loads of chicken and more chicken on the menu, but not very much choice for vegetarians. A convivial place. Handpulled cask beers were St Austell Tribute Cornish Pale Ale and Greene King IPA, which is the one I had.
We stayed in chester for two night break and luckily discovered this place the first night, loved it as it was away from the really busy areas. Sat outside during the recent heatwave and met lots of other tourists ! Lovely staff and the beer was great. Going back to chester next week and we will definitely be visiting again.
