   My son absolutely loves Footlights, where he gets to develop his singing, dancing, and acting skills. The classes are fantastic, with enthusiastic and supportive teachers who really bring out the best in the students. There are great opportunities to take part in shows and work towards LAMDA qualifications, which has been so valuable for his confidence and development. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a high-quality, encouraging drama class.

   Since joining Footlights, my daughter has absolutely flourished. She previously attended another performing arts school outside the area, where her confidence was sadly knocked and she was often made to feel like she simply wasn’t good enough. Seeing her now, compared to then, is like night and day. The confidence she’s regained, and the smile she wears so naturally, have been such a joy to witness since she started at Footlights. She genuinely feels like she’s found her place here. It’s such an inclusive, nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to shine. What really stands out is that the teachers focus on bringing out the best in their pupils rather than putting themselves in the spotlight. They are incredibly humble, and it shows in the way they treat the children. I’m so grateful to every member of staff who has worked with her. They have helped rebuild her shattered confidence piece by piece, all while making the classes fun, uplifting, and the highlight of her week. If she could go every day, she absolutely would. Her newfound confidence has carried over into life outside of Footlights too. She’s more willing to try new things, speak up, and put herself forward in ways she never would have before. For that, I owe Footlights a huge thank you. They’ve helped bring back the sparkle my little girl lost for a while, and I couldn’t be more thankful.

   Honestly footlights has been such an amazing experience for me, it’s genuinely supported me throughout my life and given me something to look forward to every weekend. I’ve been going to footlights since I was six and have made so many incredible memories and met just the most amazing people. Apart from learning to sing, dance and act, footlights is so much more than that! It’s a family and being apart of it is something I will never forget!!

   in 2023 it was my first day of footlights Urmston i was scared about everything but everyone was really kind and welcoming! i find all 3 of the lessons really good as we learn all the stuff we need to know and rehearsing for shows are also fun. The shows we do are also really fun like Matilda, Mary poppins and more. I genuinely find footlights a good place to learn stuff about acting, singing and dancing

   I’ve been at footlights for a couple of years now and I look forward to going every saturday. All the teachers are so nice and they help and support us through acting, singing and dancing. Everyone who goes to footlights are all really lovely and welcoming and I know all the girls in my group are all really close. I’ve learned so much during my time here, not only about theatre but also about teamwork and working closely together with everyone else at footlights.
