   I am writing this review to express my deep concern and dissatisfaction with the treatment my son has received from Karen Ward at Altrincham Music Lessons, Altrincham. My son, who is only 8 years old, has been complaining about his experiences with Karen for the past few weeks, stating that she uses harsh words and makes him feel scared. Today, I witnessed this behaviour first-hand. When I dropped my son off for his lesson, I witnessed Karen telling him, "You are disappointed with yourself. You have no confidence." Such statements are completely unacceptable and damaging, especially to a young child. I don't know what other harsh words Karen has been saying to my son during his previous lessons. A teacher's role is to encourage and nurture a child's confidence, not to break it down with negative remarks. I highly condemn the behavior displayed by Karen Ward and Altrincham Music Lessons for allowing such conduct to occur. No child should ever be subjected to this kind of treatment. Effective immediately, I am pulling my son out of your program.

   My daughter and I have been with Altrincham Music School for just over a year now. The teaching is fantastic, the lessons are fun and we love every minute of our time there. My daughter is now classed as excellent at music at her school and we have a great time together practicing at home. We very much look forward to our lessons and passing our exams for many years to come. I highly recommend Altrincham Music School. Shahana & Ameera

   My daughter has been with Altrincham Music School for over a year. Andrew has been great and the group lesson style really suited her. It allowed her to feel comfortable playing in front of others, and her classmates have always motivated her with encouraging words. She is always keen to attend the classes and practice at home.

   My 11 years old daughter used to be learning piano 1on 1 for a year prior to joining this school. She has learnt more in 3 months here than what she did in the past. Very organised & structured teaching. The teacher Andrew encouraged my daughter to aim higher & sets clear goals. Thankyou

   I highly recommend Altrincham Music School! My son has been taught piano by Andrew for over 6 years now and he still enjoys it thoroughly and looks forward to it every week. He has progressed onto Grade 5 and hopes to do all the grades here.

   I too, am a 'mature student' and have thoroughly enjoyed my piano lessons over the years. I've been attending Dawson's Music School since 2012 and in that time, not only have I reached Grade 6 but have met some lovely people of all ages and abilities. I totally agree with previous comments and find the small group classes just perfect for me. I would heartily recommend giving Dawson's a call, no matter what age or experience you may or may not have.
