I was staying close to LS Station and the pubs around there were crazy busy on the weekend afternoon. The Old Fort was a great alternative to peacefully watch a couple of local football games on tv.

This has to be my favourite Liverpool pub. The two bar women were fantastic hosts and looked after us yesterday. Drinks are priced very well. Definitely coming back to this proper boozer.

The pub does not do food any more. The atmosphere at the old fort is excellent and the drinking public and the bar staff friendly.

I came across across this little gem by accident. I was met by a Hyton girl (Dominque ) who made me welcome. I sat on my own but watched her. She was a bartender, a street fighter and a therapist. Simply magnificent. The following day she encouraged me to marry a regular so I think I'm engaged! Then karaoke where I sang to an ovation. Going back whenever I can. x

A lovely little pub and very handy for the hospital. Great to stop for a pint after visiting times.

Cosy pub with the friendliest bar maid it's ever been my pleasure to meet. Though at £2.90 for a small bottle of Coke Zero it's unlikely I'll be back.

Being a week day so it was quiet barmaid was nice and polite (kinda cute being Petite) toilet decent and clean back ground music was good old school style. Be interesting to see what evenings are like, might be back to find out
