I've had lots of problems with this school. I'm going to sell my house as soon as I can and hopefully at least my Youngest Daughter might have a few years elsewhere.
Hi I went to George tomlinson when I was 11. I am 79 now it was marvellous. Great school teachers brilliant. thay helped you .thay pushed you to get on .enjoyed going there. It's sad to hear what its like that now...brian
i went here 5 years ago in year 7 it was all great before the new head then all went bad i was put in isolation for something completely irrelevant to me they do nothing about bullying or mental illnesses its horrible lowry academy and harper green are miles better do not even waste your time here
Do not put your child in this school,they stick up for the trouble makers.My Daughter has been attacked twice in one year for her safety we are paying for a taxi after school Monday to Friday all hasn't worked out she got attacked in the school changing room
If I could rate this school any lower than 1 star, I would. The teaching method is based on a child "Willing to learn" policy, which, in the case of if a child does not want to learn, then they don't. No homework or assignments. Rather, any assignments they give are by the way of flyers posted up around the school. Children with mental health issues such as ADHD are ignored, esp when a child needs the school to send to CAMHS a form for mental health assessment, and the school never does it or cant be bothered doing it. Other parents we spoken to also have said that this school is the worst in Bolton.
