Craft beer venue on main street heading into city centre. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Good selection of beers on tap plus a huge selection of chilled bottles/tins. Background music not too loud. Knowledgeable staff. Worth a visit.
second time we have been, great service and beer every time, really unique beers and bar snacks, great selection of pub games also!! Kirsten was super welcoming and made us feel really at home here. Happy to talk and made our time really enjoyable, will happily return every time we are in chester :)
Very nice. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There was good choice of beer and also loved the 'non-beer' menu. The inside is quirky. Brilliant little place to try some good drinks. Board games were a nice addition too.
A fabulous craft beer bar that is different from any other bar in Chester. The decor is modern and quirky and the beers available are vast. The cellar architecture makes for a snug visit, which is enhanced by good music and comfortable chatter noise.
Wow - find of the day. Unbelievable choice of craft ales on tap and in cans and bottles. Real friendly atmosphere with like minded craft ale lovers plus a great bar tender who certainly knows his business.
A great selection of beers on tap and very chatty, friendly staff. I always try to stop in for one or two every time we are having a drink in Chester. The prices are a little off-putting but the beers are often worth the premium, just as a little treat. Board games and music are a plus too
Good beer but seating arrangements could be cosier. Crying out for some comfy benches and better lighting. ...was thinking of maybe like the attached... just the back seating area felt a bit cold and bright... subjective I guess.
Good real ale pubs. Good selection of ales including fruit beer and pumpkin. Had a few different types. Cave type structure with seating.
The selection is fantastic. It’s a pity that not all of the canned beers are stored within a fridge because pouring some beers that are at room temperature can be tricky. The server we had wasn’t the most welcoming but we weren’t there for that.
