Dispiriting venue Half run down pup Half 1970's school dinner hall, Food was similar And the service was appalling In a word Dispiriting
Last night I got food and it was the best Indian I have had in a long time I got the king prawn jalfrezi it was delicious. My kids and partner had the Korma with the garlic rice. The dishes are reasonably priced and the atmosphere was chilled and relaxed. We live close and this pub was once a little bit run down but now is a great family friendly place to go. We will be now using it as our regular pub and definitely our chosen place to order Indian food.
It's pub grub. Reasonably priced and you feel satisfied for what you got. Will definitely return. Staff are very friendly.
1st time I've been there in over 30 years and talk about being back in the 80's . it's staff are excellent they knew after 1 beer what I wanted for the next round . Nice clientele and I will be frequenting the hostalry more often as it's closer to where I live than going to Waterloo . I only live near The Litherland/ Priory .
Staff were very attentive and catered for a toddler roast dinner... Lovely fresh food..
Food really nice when we received it after waiting ova an hour tho I had to go ova to the staff and ask where our food was as other customers came in after us and received there's before us apparently it was because there was no beef left but they should of made us aware the staff were really nice expecially the young lad on the bar and gave us a complimentary drink on the house due to the delay and then we received our food will definitely be going there again and highly recommend
