A really cool little place for brunch. Plenty of seating, good food and a cozy atmosphere. I think Lark Lane is Liverpools best street. The food was good and the service was amazing. Highly recommend.

A bar that’s quirky and friendly. There is a good selection of beers on offer and the cocktail menu is extensive. The bar is dog friendly and has two floors, with both floors being busy on our visit. The walls are covered in a variety of genres of art work, and the there is a chilled, buzzing vibe. The people inside ranged from with small children to couples and groups of friends.

Great aesthetic and vibe to the place alongside a small selection of pastries if you get hungry, good beer selection and lovely staff/bartenders. Nice seating arrangements with variety and there’s a variety of board games around for you to play with whoever you’re with, would recommend for couple and small groups but not suited for large groups in my opinion. Have been here a few times and will continue too!

It's a perfect place that feels like a mix between a café and a pub, making it easy to walk in alone. I enjoyed an incredibly delicious English breakfast and decaf latte while listening to beautiful music. With a lovely view outside, I had a wonderful and peaceful morning.

The food was really very good with large portions and the service at the bar was friendly and prompt in spite of the staff being under pressure on a busy Sunday. Our drinks were lovely and it was great to sit in a relaxed atmosphere playing a board game while we waited for our meals. Unfortunately, the wait for food was over an hour with the kitchen clearly struggling with service and washing up, but we weren't too hungry to wait and we left feeling really happy and relaxed after a lovely lunch. Also the toilets were clean and nicely presented which is a rare thing in restaurants and cafes of this size. Thanks to all for making us so welcome.

I got the roast beef which was homely and just what a roast should be. The beef was still slightly pink in the middle even though I got there at 3.30pm. Gravy was yum and the Yorkshire pudding cooked crispy on the outside and nice & soft but not doughy on the inside. The tender stem broccoli was a little old but other than that it was delicious! The service is quick and staff friendly. This is a lovely spot for a relaxed Sunday afternoon lunch.

Good food, nice chunky menu with various options of both drinks and food. I tried the turmeric chai, very warm and earthy, with fish and chips. I’m not a big fan of fish and chips, but it looked good on someone else’s table and gave it a go. The fish was very fleshy and fresh, not dry at all! With crispy batter and very nice sauces. Staff is friendly even when super busy, and it was, but we still manage to eat within 20 minutes from the moment we sat down. Warm vibes and a cool dj was setting the Saturday evening tone right too :)

We love Lark Lane and this was the first time we have tried The Book Binder. The food was delicious and such a huge plateful! Can't wait until next time.

My husband and I visited from the U.S for 3 weeks to see our daughter. Our first day, she met us at The Bookbinder for brunch. For the remaining weeks it became a great place for us to find comfort away from home. We stopped in on some days for Cappuccinos and Americanos in the morning with delicious breakfasts. Other days we stopped by for wine and snacks after a long day of walking and site-seeing. No matter when we stopped by, the atmosphere was consistent. We were always greeted with a friendly smile, delicious food and a warm relaxed atmosphere. Thanks for making us feel so welcome!!
