   This nursery is a truly magnificent place. I spent a long time searching for somewhere I would feel completely safe and happy leaving my son, and where he would feel excited to go and learn every day. I couldn’t have been more fortunate to find it. My son absolutely loves going. He comes out happy, excited, and full of stories, which says everything a parent needs to know. There is no screen time; instead, the children are encouraged to play, explore, learn, and share with one another, which I value enormously. The nursery is very well organised, extremely clean, and full of care and warmth. While the space itself is simple and natural, what really makes this place special is the staff. They are best suited for the job; they are kind, responsible, knowledgeable, and genuinely involved. On several occasions I have gone to them for advice on specific matters, and their guidance has always been spot on and incredibly reassuring. It is clear they truly care about the children and their development. As a parent of two children who has moved often, I have experienced many different nurseries, and I know a good one when I see one. This is definitely one of the best. The only thing to keep in mind is that it is more of a preschool than a traditional nursery, so it is particularly well suited to older preschoolers rather than younger toddlers, mainly because there is no nap time. What more could I ask for? I would highly recommend it.

   Both of my Children have attended First Steps and I can't recommend them enough. I have found it to be a nurturing and caring environment that has allowed children to feel safe so they can gain skills and confidence. The staff have been there throughout their time there allowing children to build a secure relationship with them. They also do lovely events where the children can perform songs and show work to adults in their lives.

   My daughter is just about to finish after two years at First Steps and her older sister attended 5 years ago. I cannot recommend this wonderful pre school enough. The staff to child ratio is excellent and the children thrive on the smaller group sizes and 1:1 time they get to spend with their key workers. The outdoor space is fantastic, and utilised daily for different activities. Weekly visits from Footy Tots and Diddi Dance also give the children those extra opportunities to try something different in an environment they feel safe and secure in. Helen and her team have years of experience in pre school learning and wellbeing and this shines through in everything they do for the children!

   My child has been at First Steps for nearly a year and one of my older children also attended at a similar age. The staff are amazing! They are not only caring and attentive, but they also create a warm and nurturing environment where my daughter feels safe, loved, and excited to learn every day. I’m so happy with the progress and joy I see in my daughter every day, and I’m excited for the rest of her journey. I can highly recommend this preschool to any parent looking for a loving and supportive learning environment! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

   My daughter has been attending First Steps since she was 2 years old, and she absolutely loves it! The staff are all so kind and caring, and it’s clear they’ve been part of the team for a long time. One of my favourite things about the preschool is the amazing outdoor garden area, there’s so much for the children to do and explore. She’s made so many lovely friends along the way. I would highly recommend First Steps to anyone looking for a nurturing and fun preschool environment!
