Both my boys have attended the nursery and the home ed group at this setting. Having tried a few other places, this setting is like nowhere else. The staff genuinely care and get to know the children. I don’t receive generic copy/paste updates at the end of everyday. The caregiver to child ratio is quite high compared to other places, and the activities are well thought out. The outdoor time and skills they pick up are amazing and I genuinely believe will help foster a lifetime of love of nature and the outdoors. I would highly recommend if you can afford it, but 15/30h nursery funding can also be used for the nursery.

We cannot recommend Kids Go Wild enough! Our son has been attending for over a year now and our daughter will be starting next year as soon as shes old enough! The care, consideration and accommodation of the staff from the outset is outstanding. The settling in procedure was stress free and we were supported as a family throughout. The team took the time to understand ours and our sons needs and remained flexible and adaptive to him. Day to day, the facilities continue to improve, and the activities our son gets to engage with are exciting and things we just couldn’t offer ourselves. Our son has been guided, empowered and supported throughout his time here. He is always so excited about going and never wants to leave when we pick him up. We have seen him absolutely flourish here, his social, communication, and physical development has come on leaps and bounds and we are so grateful to have this setting in our lives!

My son was in a terrible place when he was accepted into the AP two days a week. This is just NOT another forest school its staff are highly trained and skilled. My son re regulated there whilst I fought to get him the specialist place he needed. We are beyond grateful for the team at kids go wild.

A very unique and tranquil alternative childcare setting. Nicky and the team worked well to settle in my son when he turned 2 years old, providing supportive and practical advice (eg. clothing!) and they follow the early years curriculum in partnership with our other nursery, and I know that they work together with schools too. It is clear which setting he prefers and loves going to FS, socialising in a mixed group of 2-5 year olds. They provide a great mix of tailored activities and free play in a gorgeous setting, giving him opportunities and fun that parents cannot manage alone. He has come on leaps and bounds in terms of his gross motor and sensory skills and general sense of adventure. The app provides updates with pictures and developmental milestones and other details. They make use of the nice park and links with the local old people's home too which is very special to see. Big highlights are the shallow stream and the food / hot chocolate made fresh on the open fire. They stick to the forest school ethos in every way.

My boys are 3&6 and have been going to forest school since they could walk! They love it! The holiday club is perfect as I don’t have to be out in the cold mud all day but they can do what they love!!!

The forest school nursery is how things should be for kids. In a time where screens and inside play are the norm we've forgotten that outside and nature are the best learning and nurturing places. If you've thought about it, it's really worth seeking out. We were enthralled when Nicky set up the nursery as had been waiting for one just like this. Honestly, my eldest has loved it, and my youngest about to start. It's everything you could want as a balance to modern childhood. I hope in ten years time there will be lots of mother nurture type nurseries!

If you're unsure about forest school nursery don't be. My son started school last term and misses it so much. The freedom, the self direction, the exploring, the play, it developed his confidence and love of nature so much. Luckily they do holiday club so he can have snippets in the holiday. I couldn't recommend it enough and often do.
