Great pub ,live singer fri nites ,good atmosphere ,good staff and prices are very cheap for city centre with entertainment
Very reasonable prices, don't serve food, fast and helpful bar staff.
I have awarded a five-star rating for the food, although I did not have the opportunity to sample it, so my assessment is limited. However, the bar itself appears to be quite pleasant, and the bar staff seem friendly. The bar also seems to be of a good size.
Not one of the shiny fancy pubs but one Liverpudlians visit to have a pint or two and watch some footie. The infrastructure would need some upgrades but on the other hand we liked it. Recommended!
This was a superb pub for drinking, remaining open in the city centre to get drinks coming very close to midnight! The design has a classic Victorian aesthetic, curtains are stylish and the lighting has a vintage feel too. Counter is neatly presented, seating is comfortable when I had a classic Strongbow Dark Fruits and toilets were very clean!
Lovely pub Lovely atmosphere and lovely staff me and my husband had a little gab to the barmaid Vannesa ( credit to the pub ) we will definitely be back .
Very lively as usual with a great crowd. Staff always wonderful and happy. Good selection of drinks. One of the best old bars in the city.
Went there on a monday afternoon, and of course since this is liverpool the place was packed with the usual alcoholics, because what else is there to do on a monday. Staff are nice but the male bathrooms horrific, i swear those 'Saw' movies too inspiration from this bathroom for their set design.
Love this little pub. Good buzz. Great prices. One of the cheapest pubs in town to get 2 double g and ts for under a tenner.
