Great little pub this still oldy worldy without any frills had a good young singer on whilst on my visit if you get a seat your very lucky but well worth a visit
Was in Sunday lunchtime for a quiet pint and it felt as if Manchester had come to Liverpool. I wondered if it would turn sour but tbf they were a loud but decent bunch just excited for the match! The pub did fantastic trade!
went here as a group, got 5 draught beers, heineken was awful as was the moretti, informed the bar manager if i could change both you would swear it was my fault his draught was awful(was probably in charge of cleaning the lines himself)so rude.oth guiness and cider were flat and bad tasting as well , but i suppose with the terrible reaction i got for informing him of how awful it was they didnt want to upset him even more so just left them £28.50 down the drain AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Went in here as we heard the music. Only 1 bar person and the place was rammed. Good music. Good mixed age of clientele. Person singing was good. My Foster's was a bit flat.
Small lively pub with regular live music with good service and close to many other venues.
Love coming to the Empire.Have seen lots of shows over the years as a family or with friends...Great atmosphere & comfortable seating ...Came with my eldest son to see The Cher Show on Saturday 21 Jan good performance very enjoyable..only problem queue for the ladies toilet is a joke but other than that great trip away and would recommend coming to see the shows...
Popped in with two mates. Lovely welcome, beers were good. Karaoke was dependent on the singers..
Cute little pub, lovely owner with a beautiful voice. Had tears in my eyes when he was singing, his passion for music is evident. Definitely recommend going there for some live music.
Another watering hole I have been too dozens of times over the years. It looks a little tired now, but cannot knock the choice of drinks or the nice atmosphere
