Small city centre pub that is a mecca for real ale lovers. It is one of only five pubs in the whole country that has appeared in every edition of the good beer guide. It has retained every bit of its traditional atmosphere. Always busy and every pub tour of Liverpool must include the Roscoe Head. The beer selection is excellent and always in perfect condition. Great atmosphere created simply by the sound of numerous conversations! Love it.

Great real ale pub. Proper old boozer. Quite small so can get busy quickly but great atmosphere. Perfect if you like Timothy Taylor ales.

The Roscoe Head is a traditional four roomed pub with an unspoiled original interior and run by the same family for over thirty years. There is a choice of six cask conditioned hand-pulled real ales. It is one of only five pubs in the country to be in every edition of the camra good beer guide. It is a fantastic pub. For real ale drinkers it is probably the best pub in Liverpool.

A beautiful and unique old Victorian Liverpool pub dating back to 1831. I loved going in there & will definitely return. The pub has snugs which you rarely see these days. The beer is well looked after. I had a pint of Tetley’s Cask Conditioned bitter which was excellent. The landlord is a great lad. Had a nice chat with him. He’s doing a great job following on from the landlady that was there for 30 years. I like everything about this pub. It even has some delicious pies if you fancy a snack.

One of my favourite pubs in Liverpool! The service is always great and the prices are very reasonable. There are 3 separate seating/lounging areas, but they are all very cozy and intimate. It definitely seems like a pub where local people gather. I love the vibes here, definitely check out this place. The bartenders are always so friendly and welcoming.

A lovely, traditional pub that's tucked away down a side street. The barman was friendly and we had a couple of rounds of Jarl, which was a great pint.
