   Great pub. I went in to watch the football on Sunday and got chatting to a few other guests. Everyone was really friendly and we had a good laugh. Two people bought me drinks out of the blue, which was very kind of them. They had some great songs on the jukebox, good variety and reasonable value. I have seen the girl who works there a couple of times and I think she’s a really nice girl. Great taste in music as she likes Steely Dan and The Smiths. Excellent barmaid and really friendly.

   The pub where the art students hung out. There's a famous photo of them in the next door alley, John, a dark-haired Cyn and friends. This pub is the real deal. We were saturated and found a warm little room to hang out and drink. There's enough Beatle stuff of interest but we mainly enjoyed bantering with the locals.

   Been before many years ago so popped in to see how it had changed. Outside you would think it was shut but inside it was busy with loads of people enjoying social time and a drink (or two). Dog friendly and a good choice of cask beers.

   Loved this place. Then me and my father came in we got warmly welcomed by an very Nice Lady behind the bar. We ate Scouse and drank some cask ales. Very cozy with Al the small rooms you can sit at.

   Brilliant pub right in the city centre yet in a quieter residential street. Excellent service and a nice mix of real ales to choose from. Some great political humor and some more serious on the walls to entertain you during your visit. Definitely had a more relaxing vibe than most city centre pubs and I mean that in a good way .
