   Nice pub, but I had a disappointing experience yesterday. I bought a £4 shot that came in the glass on the left, then reordered the same shot for the same price and received barely half the amount (glass to the right). When I pointed this out, the bartender was rude and ignore the question. I understand Saturdays are busy, but there’s no need to scam your regulars

   I've been coming to this pub for many years and it's not changed over the decades. It's in an ideal location at the top of Renshaw St and has a lot of passing traffic and this accounts for a lot of it's business as it always seems busy of an evening. It's not too busy though during the day and I find that's the best time to call in for a pint. They have always had a cracking selection of real ales and beers and I can normally find a seat somewhere in the pub. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and it's a great place to have a quiet drink.

   Brilliant stop here the other evening they had a traditional Irish band playing who were absolutely fantastic The staff were really friendly and welcoming, and they are very dog friendly with a good range of beers, positive reports in every respect

   Wow was only in Liverpool for a day and I have to say The dispensary made me feel more than welcome! Great Guinness, lovely vibe and good people! Can't wait to visit again at one point in the coming year!
