   If you want your dreams to come true this is the place to start I can’t recommend this school highly enough it’s a very daunting experience flying for the first time however the staff here are fantastic training is delivered in a friendly and informative way from Simon on the front desk to the instructors everyone is fantastic and if you don t understand just ask they will never look down on you my instructor John is a real jewel in the crown after starting training ten years ago and not completing due to a terrible instructor at a different school I put it off I’m so glad I gave flying another chance it’s absolutely brilliant.I wish I had gone with lac sooner cant wait to go every week a real pleasure which is how it should be thanks very much for restoring my faith in a brilliant flight school .Also don’t let the weather put you off if you get flights cancelled it’s all part of flying in the uk !!!

   Absolutely loved my visit today, i flew with John and what a gent he is, genuinely felt like we was friends taking to the air. The whole experience was 10/10. AMAZING VIEWS!!! Will definitely be up again soon. Thank you LAC.

   Possibly one of the oldest flying schools in the UK. Friendly pilots and staff and a healthy fleet of planes. Never been up in one but they look great. Being based at historic Barton Aerodrome is another plus.

   I have recently started to do my PPL license in Lac Flying School and i can definitely recommend LAC to anyone looking for a decent flying school… New students are need to look into those major things before they starting their pilot journey ; LAC have all i was looking for :) experienced instructors ✅ lots of aircrafts available 2-4 seater ✅ Friendly and helpful team ✅ Pay as you fly ( you don’t need to pay all in one go but there is also starting packages available of your choice) ✅ Easy to access School and lots of parking spaces available ✅ I am glad i have chosen LAC and If you want to come and join LAC trust me you won’t be regretting !    From my first trial flight a year ago through to completion of my Skills Test yesterday the team have gone above and beyond to make sure the experience has been fantastic. Jim McBrinn has carried out virtually all of my training and the effort he has put in to get me to this stage still amazes me from the first flight his passion for flying is infectious and you cant help but get hooked. He has a way of building your confidence and continually pushing you to improve there were many times when i just thought i will never be able to do this but then suddenly it all starts to click. I have never seen or heard of a flight school with such a fantastic team of instructors and support staff and just seeing how full the diary for flights gets is testament to how great a job they do. If anyone is thinking of starting there journey towards becoming a pilot you will not find a better place to start than LAC and if your extra lucky maybe even managing to get Jim as your instructor. Thanks again for everything.

   Went to LAC flying school yesterday to take a trial lesson and also surprise my dad as a passenger, I already have some flying experience so I was allowed to conduct most of the flight and our instructor Martin was still able to show me some tips and tricks, that I didn’t learn at my flight school! Martin was fantastically knowledgable about the history of the Manchester area and made the flight even more enjoyable! Kate deserves a mention for arranging everything for me when I live in western Canada with a 7 hour time difference! She was brilliant! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this flying school for anybody looking to learn to fly - especially to learn the sadly diminishing art of hand flying with real instruments! Thanks Again!!!

   My experience of LAC Flying School has been excellent. I was flying fixed wing microlights and wanted to convert to a full EASA PPL(A) and didn't know where to start. LAC helped me with everything, including the ground school and I am now just waiting for the licence to drop on my doorstep from the CAA. Helpful, friendly, competitively priced and I find the aircraft very good to fly. I have done almost 100 hours with their aircraft now and working towards being an airline pilot having started the ATPL(A). My personal experience means I can only say only good things about LAC.
