    had 2 pints here on way to springsteen concert. could have had more as nice atmosphere and good seating options but still had a way to walk through the new (pleasant) housing estate after challenging climb through everton park

    We went to the Mere Bank this past Saturday before the Legends match. This is the pub my buddy, Steve, goes to before each Liverpool match. I really enjoyed the pub. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was excellent. Great beer. Really enjoyed my visit prior to going to see our Liverpool Legends win 4-2 vs Ajax.

    Can't believe the pub was built in 1881! Just the history of the place and looking around the architecture outside was a great start for me. Good atmosphere inside,friendly staff and cheap ale what more do you want.
