   Stopped off at this Pub on away football trip to Tranmere, George and Dragon is in Birkenhead the nearest Rail Station to the Ground, good old style Pub with number of regulars in there and a jukebox . Drink offers at good prices made the visit ideal,

   I've done the G&D in Dubai, but the G&D in Birkenhead cannot be compared, it's a class of its own! Comfy "workman's" pub, decently priced, and, most importantly, the bar staff are luvly! They don't do food, but there's plenty of takeaways nearby. I luv it, my local when I'm in Birkenhead!
