Iconic place. Not much more to say except... it's full of signed memorabilia and has the most amazing vibe. Drinks are great... £11 for a pint of Gunness (which was poured to perfection) and a zero Gunness and Black. Sound system quality. You can spend hours here. Arrived after opening... 11am ish. So was fairly quiet on numbers... which suited us.
Legendary venue,great live music,always worth a visit for a few hours when in Liverpool.
Great pub with live music daily. We went on a Thursday and there was a 2 man band playing classics. Beer and ciders where good as always.
Live music , great atmosphere! We visited Saturday afternoon it wasnt too busy but still had a great feel. Prices were reasonable and I would happily highly recommend. Lots of great memorabilia to see.

Lovely Lovely Lovely place. Bouncers were polite. Live music, spacious,great responsible crowd. Paintings and deco left me speechless. I recommend all the way .
If your ever in Liverpool then Matthew steet and the Cavern Pub has to be first on your list. Great selection of bar products and some awesome music acts. Who doesn't want to visit a place full of nostalgia.
Absolutely fantastic time. Visited as many places as we could cram in but the Cavern was by far the most amazing place. Staff were extremely friendly, even purchased a couple of Tshirts whilst there. Great live music all day, definitely recommend android can't wait to return
Fantastic pub, and definitely one of the better places to see live music around this area of Liverpool. They have a number of tribute acts playing classic 60s music, and the vibe is wonderful. They’ve had some big names playing there and the website helpfully lists their upcoming gigs. Highly recommend visiting.
