   Popped in for a pint with a couple of friends last Saturday. I was concerned at first over the rules so only expected to have 1 pint, but found them much easier to stick to than expected. Anyway, the atmosphere was fantastic and I ended up having a brilliant night, we ended up staying until the end. The lager and the stout were very nice, thats all we drank so can't comment on things like cider etc. The couple who run it were excellent hosts. Will definately be visiting again, Thanks :)

   Like stepping back to a time where pubs were real pubs. Great beer, great atmosphere and very friendly management. Highly recommended if you appreciate the good old traditional British pub. Highly recommended.

   Lovely pub but on most visits its heaving to the rafters hence the four stars. Luckily no tv and Liverpool in European cup final made for an ideal visiting time. Peaceful and lovely, very nice pub, ten stars when quiet.

   Very old man's pub. Normally like that sort of thing but this was extremely outdated an definately not for the under 70's. Beer didn't taste right and ashtrays hadn't been emptied for days. Needs updating looks lovely from the outside. Inside is a different story. Not for family's wouldn't take my child there. Locals seemed friendly and all knew each other which I saw as the only plus
