Absolute gem of a place. Great locality (walking distance to main attractions). Food was absolutely delicious. Service was impeccable. Thanks to "Dan the Man" who could not do enough for you. Highly recommended.
Another excellent Liverpool pub in the 2025 CAMRA Good Beer Guide. ( already got the 2026 sticker up.) Paulicarus loves it. Beautiful pub. Six real ales. Shaslic bought me a pint of oyster stout by Wirral brewery Brimstage. Tastey. A long front bar room with a good sized rear room. Very good value food. Butties £5.50 or £8 will get you curry, chilli, burgers.
A very good city centre pub. Excellent selection of beers served by friendly staff. Can get really busy, especially in the evening. Good menu, and food is reasonably priced.
Very good Liverpool pub on Dale Street. Six cask beers on handpump when I last visited including a dark mild. Plenty of drinking space on the street outside.
This was my first time in Vernon arms and I was pleasantly surprised! Very nice, small, old fashioned pub. We ordered the "lunch rush" special which was 2 main meals for £12. Which was AMAZING! We also ordered 2 Kopperberg ciders and our total came to £24. The only reason I am giving 4 starts in stead of 5 is because I feel like £6 for a cider is a bit expensive....don't know if there was some mistake.... But the food was so affordable, and great value for money, that I couldn't be too mad!! Service was great!
A grate hidden little charm in Liverpool City centre this pub sells Welsh beer at very good quality highly recommend

Nice Liverpool boozer with quirky sloping floor. Beer was good and staff friendly but a bit quiet. It was a cold Tuesday though.
Went for a pub lunch with two friends. I was not disappointed as the food was excellent not expensive and the service was very good. I have eaten there a couple of times and will go back again. I would recommend this pub.
