   Lovely friendly local, great place to watch sports. Outdoor seating at the front is a fantastic sun trap on those sunny days and it's really reasonably priced. Friendly staff, one of those places that welcomes everyone. Lots of great building murals around here so well worth popping in for liquid refreshment if you've come to explore those.

   Great little community pub. Cheap ale and a great atmosphere. Staff all really friendly. Couple of smaller rooms at the end of the long, main bar area. Late license sees it open until very late at the weekend.

   Was refused sparkling water by a woman behind the bar and accused of pouring my own alcohol in it! I wanted a sparkling water as I felt drunk and wanted to pace myself but got a barrel of abuse on asking. Terrible behaviour… imagine an alcoholic going out and getting refused a soft drink! I was not pouring my own drinks and neither was anyone I was with! I am not a youngster either! Not that that should matter. I did send a complaint to the pub via Facebook but it was ignored! When I asked for the manager at the time of the incident I was told they are not here.
