Love coming here. Specially for the breakfast wrap. Can’t go wrong. Prices are great, always busy in there Staff are wonderful, very attentive. Very quick service too
I am writing to express my disappointment following my recent visit to your Liscard branch on Friday, 10th October 2025. I am a regular customer and usually dine there two to three times a week, often ordering the Beef Madras, which has always been of excellent quality in the past. However, on this occasion, the meal was extremely disappointing. Every piece of beef in the dish consisted entirely of fat, which made it inedible and quite off-putting. This was very unlike the standard I have come to expect from your establishment. I hope this issue can be addressed, as it has deterred me from ordering this dish again — and from visiting as frequently as I usually do. I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and ensure that the quality of this meal is restored to its previous standard. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.
Can’t argue with this place. We often go in for breakfast or a coffee. The staff are fabulous… all of them… always happy to help. Special shout out to Rachel… many thanks for all your help x I normally have a small veggie breakfast and it is a lot lot better than many places I’ve been. Normally quiet in the mornings when we go… gives us a chance to chill down. Excellent value for money.
This is a nice big pub, been in a few times. Typical Wetherspoon, some of the staff are great but others are not polite and would rather talk to the other staff members than serve you. But the worst thing by far is the screaming kids running around unsupervised, I don’t mind children in bars but when they’re running around screaming and staff or parents do nothing that’s not good, not only annoying but dangerous, I watched someone with hands full with drinks turn around and trip over kids running past, no harm done but could of been lot worse!!!
Food was OK but really needs a good clean and some tlc. Tables were dirty and wet. Guy who brought our food was very nice. I've been here plenty of times but it seems to have gone down hill.
Food served piping hot, staff helpful and friendly. Toilets are very clean and tidy
The theme of every Wetherspoons is the same- great selection of food and drink at very competitive prices. If that is what you want, this is a great place to go. It is definitely one of the smallest Wetherspoons I've ever been to. Having the outside seating at the front is great for people watching, although on a busy main road, so the traffic noise and fumes won't be great.
all the food is very nice, specially the chicken curry! The chicken curry is the hongkong style! It is really nice! The best is all of the set are included drink! You can refill hot drink eternal time! The spicy pizza is very surprise, it look like normal , but it is really great! Have a lot of meat! It is a really nice experience!
Updated review 091122 from below... Had one of those 6oz american burgers with cheese (2x3oz) and chips, with a pint £7.50. Can't grumble with the price, tasted ok, wasn't as substantial as I thought it would be (not recommended for a hard worker on its own), plate was heated, small amount of chips. Service despite being busy was quite good this visit. It's like McDonalds, you know what your going to get. The service isn't the best and you might have to ask to get your table cleaned but I think that's down to management coz the staff all appear to be multitasking non stop. The prices are great on the food and drink. Where else can you get a large wine and a pint for under a fiver. As in their advertisement sensible prices.
