I love music and found access to the Duke box not only limited, but my selection was not played after a wait of 90 minutes, after which I left the pub to go elsewhere I suspect the bar staff had access to people's music selection

Cracking pub, good beer. Friendly people.
Played darts here on Monday as part of a league match. Friendly, down to earth people. Great staff.
Proper down to earth boozer. Didn't have a lager I fancied on draught but no problem had a bottle of lager instead. Staff sat with the customers and they were all very friendly and chatty.
Typical working class Birkenhead traditional pub. Ale selection is naff but staff & locals are earthy & friendly.
