Great atmosphere, lovely staff that are very welcoming. The quiz this week was brilliant, the guest host was so funny. I recommend the rib and chicken platter or mixed grill, medium rare, extra peppercorn sauce. Loving the black paint round the pool table. Never enjoyed a fireball shot so much, 3 for £9.75, WHAT A STEAL!! Can’t wait to see what they have planned.

Free pool table today! Had a few games with some mates and enjoyed the general atmosphere. Nice and relaxed community centred pub, definitely a rarity to find nowadays. Spoke to one of the landlords (jay) who was telling us about some exciting plans they have. Will definitely be back!

Absolute joke of a place and the chef is an incompitent fool , took a vulnerable adults with autism i was supporting, ordered the Americans steak, they gave him a steak with a side salad with no topping on the steak, I gave it back and asked for the missing items, they gave it back and refused and I was forced to pay extra for chips

Love the Johnny Pye, such a cracking proper pub. New managers have just given it a little spruce up and it's looking great. Brilliant friendly atmosphere. Look forward to visiting again soon.

We popped in for a beer and grabbed some lunch at this bustling pub. Staff are friendly and helpful and there are a good range of stock beers on offer. Prices are very competitive for beers and food, and the food was great for the price. The pub is only a short walk from the bus terminal and the rest of the village.

You will always get a warm welcome here. Between the staff and locals, you'll never be short of a laugh and good company. The food is spot on and it's lovely and clean. They do a lot of work to support local charities too. Highly recommended!
