Great little pub, various beers on offer, guinness is great, staff were very welcoming considering I have come from Manchetser but would absolutely recommend for a pre hot water pint if you like a local feeling away from home, this is a good pub.

thought we’d pop in here whilst we were waiting for our show to start at blackstock. seemed like a nice enough local pub until we walked through the door and the woman on the bar decided to turn around to her mate who she was talking to saying “look at the state of what we’re getting in now” looking directly at us, so we turned around and walked straight back out to which she started laughing with her friend. At first we thought it might have been a joke, but the look it was accompanied with said otherwise. such. a shame as it seemed like it would be a nice place too.
Lovely real pub with very friendly staff. Small but very welcoming and good prices. We went to see the LFC PL champions parade and it got very crowded but still a great atmosphere. We were there 3 hours but we had a seat. The only downside is there is only one ladies loo, so there was always a big queue.
Strolled in by accident locals bar . Scousers are the best at making outsiders feel welcome. Pint of Guinness was great price and really good quality. Wish I had stayed longer but great little bar .
Nice little old boozer on the outskirts of the centre of city 10 min walk.
A very friendly pub with a great pint of Guinness at a good price. As a Liverpool lad been away for 40 years, it was home from home.
Went to a party here fantastic landlady made us all very welcome . Lovely friendly little pub.
Quality, authentic Liverpool boozer. Lovely bar tender and friendly patrons. Not a touristy/yuppie type pub so don't come here if that is what you are looking for.
