   Food - 0 stars. Stand-in chef didn't know where things were, so most items were off the menu. Service- guy behind the bar was great. He couldn't apologise enough and tried to explain the situation. In fairness he was in an unfair position. Atmosphere - only 2 tables with people sat at. No Atmosphere - not surprising considering our experience. It was disappointing - we had been recommended to come here by a local shop. We ended up getting a takeaway from Nashville chicken. Decor, lighting and seating is lovely, so it has the makings of a great local.

   This has been our local for the last 4 years but sadly we never frequented here for obvious reasons, tried again today, wow what a difference, it’s now a really friendly local pub. The change in atmosphere and decor is just brilliant, the new owners have made a huge effort in turning this place around, it could be a massive success if all locals get on board, and fresh home cooked food without pub chain requirements. So glad we gave this place another try will be back again for sure.

   Called in to have a quick bite after seeing the sign that they started selling food from the 25th April. It's been recently refurbished and it's extremely clean and fresh. The mushrooms. Fredo was great

   In need of an extensive refurb and dare I say it deep clean. visited twice but same old school pub feel and smell. Great shame as the place is in a good location but offers very limited food options for families in the area and yes could do with a major refurb to spruce the place up imho. SM.

   Awful experience, first time entering the pub and got kicked out because the bartender had bad experience with past customers so he makes out his anger on me. I couldn't care any less I was calm about the situation and left. I will not be returning nor recommending this location to anyone.

   After our afternoon walk we stopped for a liquid refreshment. Lovely Sunday afternoon vibe. Quiet, warm and some families ( small ) having a chilled he or two. I must add nobody on there phones....... Well maybe checking them but visually saw people talking to each other.
