   This is by far the best weatherspoons I’ve ever been in. It’s so clean and tidy and friendly. All the staff are lovely. The food is incredible and I can’t believe how good the prices are, the quality of food and the portion size. All amazing. The Korean bowl and the spice bag bowl with curry sauce are my favourites at the moment. My favourite place to go in heswall by far! ❤️

   Extremely busy when i visited, was a bit surprised as it was between 1-3pm on a Thursday. Maybe it's always this busy at this time though. Unfortunately meant a 40 minute wait for food to be served. Can't blame the staff for the delay though, they where all working there socks off & where all friendly and gave great service. Very nice atmosphere, good food & lovely clean premises throughout.

   The place looks nice, but the food was fairly disappointing. It took a while to arrive, and the mini fish was extremely mini. I would have sent it back like I was offered if the waiting time hadn't been so long. The rest of the food was OK, but not very warm. The floor was also fairly sticky to walk around on.

   Had breakfast here yesterday. Really nice spoons right in the middle of Heswall. Really friendly staff, loads of dining space. Breakfast was lovely, freshly cooked and waiting time was minimal. Lots of regular customers in there too who kept the place lively. Full English with refillable coffee just over £6! Bargain!

   Visited on Sunday with my 2 friends. Beautiful pub. We ordered breakfast with bottomless drink. Food arrived promptly. Was so disappointed in the large breakfast. Overdone hash browns that had an acrid taste . Bacon was over cooked and dry. The eggs were sunny side but had a rubbery texture. The beans and sausages had no flavour at all. The toast was good but they don’t do brown bread. Loved the pub but not the food.

   This was one of several recent visits here for food, but unfortunately it was not as good as previous occasions. We ordered the curry and got extra samosas and onion bhajis and when they arrived they were still cold inside and had not been defrosted correctly. We informed a staff member who offered to replace them only to find they were over done and like black golf balls. The pub is very nice and the beer is good just a pity about the attention to detail.

   Pleasantly surprised to discover this newly opened spoons in Heswall! Really great atmosphere with a nice outside area for when it's sunny and the drinks are great value for money. Food slightly better that what you expect of spoons - overall, the best one I've been to up North. Not 5 stars because service isn't quite as welcoming as some other places.

   Visited today on passing through Heswell. We knew it was fairly new so as it's a spoons it's always worth a punt. It was a Sunday lunchtime and surprisingly quiet. Lovely seating areas on both the left & right side as you enter. Found a nice quiet corner table and ordered our food. Our Chicken Buttermilk burgers arrived quickly, hot & plentiful. The chips were cooked to perfection, as was the burger. Cannot complain about the food or service in any way whatsoever and my only gripe is the lack of parking but sometimes this is the way of many of their establishments. Certainly will not stop us visiting again though. Also a nice outside eating & drinking area which will be lovely in the summer
