I joined UA92 on what was supposed to be the two-year accelerated degree, but because they changed my timetable from mornings to evenings, I was forced onto the three-year route. I work evenings to support myself, but rather than showing any kind of understanding, they told me I either had to leave the university or accept the longer course. This was despite the fact I was keeping up with the work independently and had proven I could manage the pace. It really feels like they have no grasp of the fact that many students actually need to work alongside their studies. The whole place feels less like a university and more like being back in secondary school or college. You’re not treated like an adult at all, instead, it’s as if the staff genuinely see you as a teenager who needs constant monitoring. Something as small as walking into class a few minutes late is blown completely out of proportion. You get marked down as “late,” like you’re still in Year 10 waiting outside the classroom for a teacher to tick your name on a register. I’m paying thousands of pounds to be here, yet I’m being treated as though I need to justify myself for being five minutes behind schedule. Life happens, sometimes buses run late, sometimes people come straight from work, sometimes you just arrive a little later than planned. At a proper university, you’re trusted to manage your own time. If you miss the start of a lecture, you walk in, sit down, and catch up that’s it. Nobody pulls you up, nobody marks your attendance like you’re in school. That’s the reality of higher education. But at UA92, it feels like the opposite. It’s micromanaged to the point of being ridiculous. Instead of fostering independence, responsibility, and self-motivation, the things a university should encourage, they infantilise you. It feels more like being trapped in a glorified sixth form where the priority is discipline and control rather than actual learning. It creates a completely false environment that doesn’t prepare you for the real world or for working life, and it makes the whole experience feel cheap, small, and honestly, a bit of a joke. On top of that, the way they structure the courses makes it nearly impossible to transfer out. The modules don’t line up with other universities, so if you’re unhappy and want to leave, you’re essentially trapped unless you’re willing to start over from scratch. It feels very deliberate, as though they’re trying to stop people from realising too late that this isn’t a proper university experience. Combine that with poor quality teaching and an underfunded feel across the board, and it becomes clear how badly this place is run. Having studied at a real university before, I can honestly say this is a joke in comparison. It’s not what higher education should be, and it’s not worth the money, time, or stress. If you’re considering UA92, my advice couldn’t be clearer: don’t waste your time or your money. You’ll be paying thousands for a secondary school experience dressed up as a university degree. There are far better options out there where you’ll actually be treated like an adult, get real value from your tuition fees, and experience what higher education is supposed to be. Save yourself the disappointment and look elsewhere.

I’m proud to be an alumnus of this institution. I pursued my B.Sc. in Computer Science here, and my journey was both inspiring and rewarding. When I first joined, the campus was still growing — only a few floors were open, and much of the infrastructure was still under development. Fast forward to today, and the transformation is incredible. It’s now a large, vibrant campus filled with both local and international students, creating a diverse and enriching learning environment. The college has truly evolved into a hub for quality education. It offers some of the best study techniques and modern learning methodologies, with a strong focus on both theory and practical application. The faculty is knowledgeable and supportive, and the academic environment encourages curiosity, innovation, and critical thinking. Whether you’re looking for strong academics, career-building opportunities, or a multicultural experience, I believe this is a perfect place for a bachelor’s degree. I’m grateful for my time here — it laid a strong foundation for my career and personal growth.

My time at UA92 was the best part of my academic journey. Being a Manchester United fan just made it even more amazing with the opportunities on offer. Thanks to the tutors and the staff who supported me I have managed to go and do a masters whilst also being a lecturer in sport at a college. As I have moved to another university for my masters, it makes me miss UA92 even more as the support they have for students is unmatched and in my opinion, better than any other university out there. This is due to the student focus instead of a brand/grade focus that many other universities follow. For anyone that wants to start their academic journey I will always recommend this place as it has a special place in my heart for how they helped me become the best version of myself whilst they were also supporting me through the lows of my personal life to help me get through it. Thank you UA92!

My 3 years at the university has been wonderful! The staff has always been very welcoming and approachable, greeting you with a smile every morning. My tutors are amazing, always ready to answer any questions and to help us navigate through assignments. I have also received a lot of opportunities when it comes to work experiences and meeting people from the industry making my university experience even more valuable. UA92 is definitely a place worth considering as your higher education placement. The way they do things is different but it truly produces the best results!

AMAZING UNIVERSITY Couldn’t recommend this uni enough, my confidence, academic skills and experience I gained during my time studying Journalism here moulded me into the person I always wished of being. I’ve managed to secure my dream job in a similar industry to what I studied and put it down to the amazing opportunities given at UA92.

New and exciting spin on the traditional University set up. Would be a great place to study and take those first steps at living away from home.
