   I was student for two years consecutive and this year I should be enrolled but because of luck of communication they told me to attend for a day to enroll and I went there then the receptionist said it wasn't anyone to enrol me. Very bad experience. I put a complaint more than a month, no one get back to me up to now. Very disappointed with the management team.

   Oldham College has many positives. The staff are very supportive and friendly, and the admission process was quick compared to my previous college. The cafeteria is good, and overall the student level is higher than what I’ve experienced before. However, there are some downsides. Classroom discipline can be low, with students coming and going and talking during lessons. Communication about courses could be better—I registered for several courses but didn’t receive any follow-up. The entry assessment doesn’t always reflect student abilities accurately, and some teachers can respond harshly at times. Parking is also a major issue, causing daily stress for students and staff. Overall, it’s a decent college with supportive staff and good student standards, though improvements in classroom discipline, communication, and parking would make it even better.

   They don't answer the phone and have out of date course information. Unhelpful admission staff. My son went to Ashton Sixth Form and the XL Academy instead. There's a reason this college isn't as renowned.

   Enrolled for a course online. Went to enrolment day today. To be told the course days had been rejigged and they’d not bothered to let anyone know. I couldn’t do the new days of the course and asked if there was any other course available to me. To be told no sorry look at other colleges. Not helpful at all. An absolute waste of my time. And I’ll never study with you again or recommended anyone does!!!

   I didn’t enjoy my time at this college, to add onto the fact I was manipulated into choosing a T-Level that was “electrical” instead of choosing the electrical level 2 that I originally wanted to do by then telling me it was a better version of the level 2 electrical but then once I got onto the course I ended up doing building services and structural engineering? After being told I would be doing an electrical course and clearly stating I wanted to do an electrical course. The tutors at this college clearly don’t care about your future of what you take away from there lessons u less it negatively impacts them, this was made obvious to me when I was convinced to go onto a course they knew wouldn’t suit me for the only reason I can assume being it benefited the college with regards to government grants.

   I have just completed two years at Oldham college completing my City & Guilds level 2 & 3 in hairdressing. As a mature student I found the course's challenging but very rewarding. The kits you buy have all the tools needed and the college facilities have everything at hand to complete your assessments and course. The level 2 (Alison) and level 3 (Wendy) tutors are both extremely experienced, knowledgeable and helpful. They were always just at the end of the phone whenever you needed them for help or advise, even now that I am qualified and left college I can still rely on their help when needed if it be on techniques or products. I can 100% recommend the course at Oldham College, and look forward to enrolling on other courses.

   Amazing place to study, staff are very helpful and always willing to go the extra mile. I have just completed my level 3 hairdressing and cannot express how much wendy has helped me not just with my learning but also helping me with my self confidence. I will never forget how much she has helped and I will be forever grateful for this. Thank you to all other staff and my peers for making it a truly unforgettable environment to learn in.

   I trained at Oldham College studying level 3 hairdressing. I absolutely loved the course and a big shout out to my tutors Wendy, Alison and Lynne who supported me all the way. They gave me the confidence to achieve my goals which has led me to getting my own successful salon. I have since returned to Oldham College as a guest stylist and support the learning of other students to complete their work experience at my salon. I’ve also made the decision to take on two apprentice students from the college as the support and communication from them is second to none. Over all if you’re thinking of furthering your education at this college I would say go for it!

   I've really enjoyed my time at Oldham College. Its easily accessible, the teachers are friendly and if your stuck with anything student services will be on hand to help you. My 2 teenagers are also attending the college and have enjoyed the courses they are doing. I highly recommend this college to anyone thinking about attending as an adult learner or straight out of high school.
