   Well designed building. Large open spaces inside of ground floor atrium with large lecture theaters. Smaller rooms around upper floors. Many with no windows may feel more constrained. Well planned external space and campus with a short walk to main campus.

   Visited 15 & 16/06/2023 for work national conference, need to be early to find parking in pay and display next to building. The building has two rotating door entrances and in between an accessible entrance that for most part was open but when closed need to use intercom. The main theatre is situated on the ground floor as is the shop and the cafe/restaurant area. To access the meeting rooms there is a number of lifts. The meeting rooms provided on the second floor had free WiFi and computer access plus hdmi access etc for the projector screen. The staff on site including in the reception desk situated near the entrance were very helpful and polite. Setting up at the ‘marketplace’ area near the stand/bleacher area to the right of reception allowed conference delegates and members of the university community to come and engage with the various people in attendance. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

   I was having a nice experience until the old security guard working on 12/05/2022 at 20:00 came in and very rudely told us to leave the hall just before 20:00, and we didn't even have a clock to confirm the time. He invaded my space as I left telling me the changing room was closed even though I was going to the toilet. He didn't even let me out and shouted from across the floor to push the door button, which is poor security as I could have just ran off with their property at the door. Beware of this fat old bitter man with glasses, and no matter what remember that you are paying for this establishment as a student, and should be treated with decorum. I hope that security guard gets help or sacked because this will be one of many complaints.

   Beautiful building, amazing study areas with pc everywhere. A little coffee shop with sandwiches. Plenty of spaces to simply chill out with colleagues also, big Spanish stairs inside and benches or grassy areas for 5ye sunny days just outside the main door.
