Honestly, very disappointed as I went to pick up 2 parcels, they donβt keep an itinerary of the parcels. The young man at the till gave me one parcel but refused to look for the other, insisting that there wasnβt another parcel. I was annoyed to say the least but held my tongue and decided to leave and come back the next day. My body language clearly conveyed my irritation because I went back the next day to get the second parcel. It was an older man at the till and when I gave my name he said that his son reported that I had been rude! I explained the situation and he was able to find the package in seconds. Why didnβt his son just look for it in the first place instead of insisting I was wrong and then (when I purposely ensured my language was not out of line) tell his father that I was rude? I feel extremely uncomfortable entering that shop again. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Traditional corner shop, nicely displayed, and friendly staff. Good selection of drinks. Sweets, mints, crisps, ice creams. Yodel, Royal Mail drop off inside and Evri, In Post in the lockers outside.

Great shop. Lovely owners. Have a great selection of wines and beers. Not just the usual drinks. Also has local craft beers and Belgian beers for example.

The nicest, most helpful owner. Always a pleasure to pop in here. Great to be able to support a local independent instead of a massive supermarket chain too.

Love this place. I've known Fred for years right back in the 80's when he was in Blanford. Lovely outdoor, lovely owner..

I really like this wine shop, wine can be a bit more pricey but loved the fact they wrap it in tissue paper like the good old days. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Good choice of wines especially french which these days can be quite hard to find due to modern day tastes.
