Disappointed with service ..asked staff member for bhaji flour & spices for onion bhaji ... her reply was didn't know what I was talking about & doesn't have spices !!!!!!!
I never seen this kind of rude & disgusting staff in my life. The 2 young girls are very rude who are working on the till & especially mature ladies on counter they don't know how to behave & speak with the customers. I often visit there daily or twice a week. If this kind of arrogant people work there I never go there in future & don't recommend anyone about your shop .So I kindly request to the Owner of the shop work on your staff members especially females they should be polite respectful towards customers.
A great local shop selling Asian groceries and beers, wines, spirits, etc. The staff are always pleasant, you can pay card and there are approx 10 car parking bays. There are also some trolleys which don’t need £1 to release. There are also all the usual groceries you would find at your local supermarket including milk, bread, cereals, eggs, etc. There is also a good selection of fresh fruit and veg which yes can sometimes be bruised etc but this is to be expected in most stores that sell fresh fruit and veg so just choose the ones that are not bruised. The prices may not be the cheapest for some items but are great for other items so as with supermarkets you can simply compare and buy what you think is good value.
I went in search of stuff you can't find elsewhere eg banks's mild. Found it...but it's a huge shop I've yet to examine fully, it looks amazing.
Watch as lots of things out of date exp crisps an chocolate an they selling them as in date price also poor selection of crisps ect ...but alchol is reasonal price an big variety
All in one place, the right place for all kind of desi stuff u need… they are updated always with every kind of food and especially in occasional things… nice one, neat and clean
No idea why people are complaining about prices, everything has gone up everywhere, also it's no good comparing it to Morrison's etc, they have bigger buying power and small independents can never compete with that and all the rebates they get the big players get. This place is you average food store they have plenty of choice, as I said already it's not the cheapest place, the only thing I would knock is the fresh fruit and vegetables is not always in the best condition, they probably buy in bulk and don't sell it fast enough, staff are always nice from my experience, store is nice and clean and well laid out, plenty of parking during the week but can be full on Saturday's, as to the price of the alcohol I can't comment, I only drink water lol
Let me address this quickly. 4/5 because half of the shopping experience was just me asking how much each product was because there was missing labels. Overall essentially have everything you could need, very good prices and the fruit/vegetable section is good. I'd advise you to check the quality of the fruits first because some may be bruised but that's natural. They go off quicker but that's because they're not GMO like in the supermarket. I recommend these Tangerines in the picture, best sweet ones I've ever tried.
