   Visited the store Wednesday evening to try to get a part to fix our leaking toilet( only 1 in the house). We were served by a lovely lady, ( think she was called Sophie I am told by an equally lovely lady who did a refund for me this morning) she was really friendly and despite us not having a clue what we needed she suggested something that worked perfectly. Cannot praise or thank her enough.

   Tried to return some items and purchase new/additional bits. Tried the door at 4.01pm and they were locked. They could see the items in my hands, guy just raised his hand with 4 fingers showing, to sign "it's 4pm" then looked down again as if to say "DO ONE". Such a shame. After this project, They won't get my business again. Terrible customer service.

   Will not use this place again ordered a hedge trimmer thursday told it would be here Friday didnt arrive no call to let me know Tried phoning them well dont bother continuous 10th in he queue .Decided to go to the store again for if they had forgot to let me know not even there wouldnt give me a refund so I could go somewhere else I have to wait till it comes in then go for a 3rd time to get a refund ----useless

   Can't fault them. Went today for 4 pin bulb, didn't really know what I wanted. The assistant (I think her name was Suzanne-sorry if I got that wrong) was really helpful and polite. A credit to your company. Can definitely recommend.

   I have used this branch a number of times now. Each time I have been extremely impressed by the level of service I have received along with the quality and value of the products purchased. I particularly want to thank Suzanne this time for her level of knowledge, customer service skills and patience in sorting me out with a replacement door lock, handles and matching letter box ! With my old ones in bits on the counter she diligently worked through the catalogue bringing various combinations out until we finally found the exact match in terms of fittings and holes. She is a credit to your store , as is the young chap with a beard who sorted me out with a new lock on a upvc door earlier in the year. I know my limitations as far as DIY skills are concerned , that's why your swinton branch will always be my first choice for products and advice. Keep up the good work , especially in these difficult times.
