   I am so Incredibly lucky to be able to take my son who is 7 here. In just a short amount of time jiu jitsu has positively influenced every aspect of his life. He is doing better in other sports and even at school academically. Mike and his team have provided an environment of discipline and work ethic combined with fun.    My 7-year-old daughter recently completed the 6-week programme at Roger Gracie BJJ Salford and thoroughly enjoyed every class. Despite being completely new to BJJ, she gained confidence and skills quickly thanks to the excellent coaching from Dave and Mike. All of the coaches are fantastic with the children! Not only are they patient, encouraging, and professional. They also emphasise the importance of respecting others. My daughter now attends regularly and looks forward to every session. Highly recommended for any parents considering Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for their kids!

   Started at Roger Gracie academy about 3 months ago now with a friend and haven't looked back. What an amazing place with even more amazing people. I've never been made to feel more welcome anywhere in my life as I do here. Mike and dave teach amazing very easy to understand classes for adults and children. If I had one wish in life, it would be to have started Jiujitsu sooner.

   This is a great place to learn BJJ, the coaches go above and beyond making everyone feel a big part of the family, they help the kids every step of the way creating a safe and fun environment for the children to learn in. Seeing the confidence it gave them I started the adults classes myself, now we are all sharing this great journey together. My youngest son is currently in the tinys class, and my eldest son who originally started in the tinys class last year then moved up to juniors competed in his first tournament last week winning a gold medal. Honestly cannot recommend RGA Salford enough if you’re looking to get your kids into something worthwhile that will give them a great start in life.

   I've been coming here for 12 months now. The friendly, family values at the club is evident throughout. Mike has done a excellent job with the coaches. Damon, Dave, John and Paul help pull all people from all walks of life together! I love how the more experienced ranks are paired with the new students, it's easy to offer advice to the new starters! I love this place.

   My 7yo son started at RGA around 7 weeks ago. From the moment we walked through the doors he was made to feel so welcome. With their friendly and engaging approach it took no time at all getting him to participate, which is something he has struggled to do at past attempts at different activities. The care and patience that is show to the kids of RGA is outstanding. The coaches / Professors are well aware of all the children's different needs and meet them to the best of their abilities while encouraging the children to reach the best of theirs. I would highly recommend this academy to anyone wishing to have their child in a family friendly and fun activity. I'm looking forward to watching my son progress in this sport , surrounded by people who genuinely do care for their academy members.

   Great place for both beginners and more experienced people. Really thorough and detailed explanations of why we are doing things and a great group of people. Mike, the clubs Head Coach and Black Belt, is really knowledgeable and the other coaches are great too and really help with developing your game. There are kids classes and the second my son is old enough he'll be going. Great place to train with top class coaches and a great bunch of people!! Couldn't recommend high enough.
