   RGA Bolton is honestly one of the best gyms I’ve ever trained at. The atmosphere is so welcoming — everyone’s friendly, respectful, and pushes each other to get better. You can really feel the sense of community as soon as you walk in. The coaching is top-tier, and the female black belt there is incredible — not only super skilled but also so supportive and inspiring. She makes you feel comfortable while motivating you to give your best every session. I’ve enjoyed every single class I’ve been to. The mix of great people, solid training, and such a positive environment makes it somewhere I genuinely look forward to going. Couldn’t recommend it more.

   I initially joined the gym with the expectation of finding a welcoming, family-like environment to learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. While the instruction itself was generally positive, the gym's management and cultural practices ultimately became a significant concern. My primary issues are as follows: Restrictive and Unprofessional Conduct: There were instances of coaches shouting at students for hydrating during intense summer training sessions, which is not a professional standard for an athletic environment. Furthermore, students were allegedly threatened with expulsion for training at other facilities, creating a highly restrictive and unweltering atmosphere that contradicts the openness of the wider BJJ community. Arbitrary Social Policy: I was banned for creating a social group for members, which suggests an unhealthy level of control over the student community and its interactions outside of class. This management style felt more like a dictatorship than the friendly, community-focused setting advertised. Hygiene and Safety Concerns: The gym's cleanliness and hygiene standards were unacceptable. The presence of significant dirt and unhygienic conditions around the facility caused me to feel uneasy and unsafe training there. So for this reason I need to give 1 star.

   Very disappointing gym. When I first started was warm and friendly however really gone downhill. Lots of red flags not allowed to socialise with other members via communication over WhatsApp or threatened with bieng kicked out I you wanted to train at another gym. The head Professor treat adukts like children and made a very uncomfortable controlling environment. Avoid at all costs many other relaxed friendlier gyms around with lots more classes on.
