Started just a few weeks ago (adult ballet) after many years of no dancing at all. So far I really enjoy it, nice Studio and a great, friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
I joined Rachel Stanton School of Dance recently after having many years of ballet background, and I dance more confidently due to Rachel’s amazing teaching, the ballet classes are very comfortable and you can tell Rachel is very passionate about teaching. My technique has improved lots and it’s a great environment to learn in! Thanks
After trying to find anywhere that did adult dance classes and trying a few out, I found Rachel’s dance school. I’ve now been going to the adult tap and ballet classes for 6 years. Rachel creates a fun, welcoming class where everyone feels like they belong. And manages to offer classes which are suitable for everyone no matter their experience, whilst also pushing people to challenge themselves, with the chance to complete exams as well (done 3 so far) and take part in the annual showcase.
I have joined the adult tap class after years of wanting to learn and Rachel has made me feel very welcome. Her patience and skill in teaching is immense and very much needed with me! She goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable with what you are doing, even finding time for extra lessons when required. I would definitely recommend her classes as fun way to exercise and meet new people.
I started adult ballet and tap recently and can’t recommend RSSD highly enough. Rachel is an exceptional teacher and so patient. I never thought I would be able to dance, never mind dance on stage! The classes are such fun and the ladies are brilliant. I recommend her all the time!
Excellent teaching. Attend adult ballet and recently started tap. Rachel is patient and understanding and most of all, we have fun. The showcase last April was inspiring. Talented pupils of all ages performing skilfully and with obvious enjoyment. Recommend to anyone / any age.
My daughter attended rising stars when she was 2 years old which she always loved but due to my work commitments we had to stop going. So as soon as she was old enough she joined the Dance gymnastics class. My daughter enjoys the class has made some lovely friends, I get little photo updates of how she's progressing and she gets star certificates occasionally which really boosts her confidence in her ability. Miss Rachel is fantastic with the girls and provides a safe learning environment for my daughter. Would highly recommend.
My girls have been attending this dance school for 5years now and I can't recommend the school and all the teachers enough. They always look forward to each lesson from ballet, tap, musical theatre and gymnastic dance. Miss Rachel is the most amazing person and if you are looking for dance lessons for your little ones (or yourself) then here is the place to go.
Excellent dance school and amazing teachers. Always welcoming and very passionate about each student. Would truly recommend for anyone looking to join a dance school. My 2 children do Musical Theatre and Ballet and they absolutely love it. They've been going for a few years and always talk about their classes and have a smile on their faces.
